Operation method of pipe network heptafluoropropane

Pipe network heptafluoropropane is a kind of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system, which not only has the characteristics of fast heptafluoropropane gas fire extinguishing speed, no corrosion, non-conductive and so on. At the same time, there are many compatible scenarios and a wide range of application scenarios. Multiple protected areas can be protected at the same time, but separate bottle storage rooms need to be set.


Although heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system can detect itself and realize automatic fire extinguishing through smoke detectors and temperature detectors, we still need to understand its startup mode and relevant operation methods, so as to quickly extinguish the fire in case of accident, prevent the fire from further expanding, and reduce the loss to a low level. Today, we will focus on the pipe network heptafluoropropane operation system.


We should know that the pipe network heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system has three starting modes: automatic control, manual control and mechanical emergency operation. The prefabricated fire extinguishing device set in the protection area shall have two startup modes: automatic control and manual control. At the same time, the automatic control device shall have the functions of automatic fire detection and automatic startup system.


The automatic control of the fire extinguishing system can only be started after receiving two independent fire alarm signals in the protection area. When the automatic control is started, it can be set as a 30s delay to evacuate personnel in the protection area and close the fire damper in the ventilation duct.



In the protection area with raised floor and ceiling, if the raised floor and ceiling also need to be protected, fire detectors should be set in them.


Each protection area shall be equipped with a manual / automatic selection switch, and the manual and automatic positions on the selection switch shall be clearly marked. When the selection switch is in the manual position, there should be a clear warning indicator on the selection switch. Emergency stop spraying device shall be set at the entrance of the protection area. The emergency stop spraying device shall be provided with measures to prevent misoperation.


The selector valve of the combined distribution system shall be opened before or at the same time as the extinguishing agent is released. When the gas driven cylinder is used as the starting power source, the gas pressure and gas consumption required for system operation and control shall be guaranteed.


The drive control panel of the fire extinguishing system should be set in places with frequent people and as close to the protection area as possible. The drive control panel shall comply with general technical conditions for drive and control devices of fixed fire extinguishing system (GA 61-2010).


When the fire detector set in the protection area is directly connected to the drive control panel, the drive control panel shall be able to feed back the fire alarm signal, extinguishant spray signal and system fault signal of the protection area to the fire control center. Fire audible and visual alarms shall be set in the protection area, and extinguishant spraying indication signals shall be set outside the protection area.


The installation height of manual operation device shall be 1.5m from the center to the ground. The drive control panel shall ensure that the front signal display position is 1.5m away from the ground. Sound and light alarm devices should be installed above the entrance and exit door frame of the protection area.
