Gas fire fighting system is an essential safety guarantee facility for various instrument rooms. It is necessary to select corrosion-free and residual gas automatic fire extinguishing equipment for the fire-fighting equipment in the machine room. The gas fire extinguishing equipment has better fire extinguishing effect and does not damage electronic equipment. 4. Set up a gas discharge indicator, which is operated by the fire extinguishing controller after receiving the return signal from the pressure switch on the gas pipeline. The equipment of other alarm systems, such as manual alarm buttons, fire alarm bells, etc., shall be set in accordance with the fire protection standards.

2. Set the size and orientation of the cylinder room according to the area of the machine room.


3. It can ensure that the extinguishing agent in the steel cylinder can be evenly sprayed to the fire extinguishing area.


4. The area between cylinders can be smaller. In addition, the load-bearing problem of the cylinder room needs to be considered in the planning. Generally, the load-bearing of the building is 600kg/m2, and the larger one can reach 1000kg/m2. When selecting high-capacity fire-extinguishing cylinders, the load-bearing of the floor is required to be more than 1000kg/m2. Therefore, when planning the fire-extinguishing system, it is necessary to specify the weight and floor area of the cylinder, so that when the structural planner is planning, whether the cylinder room needs to be reinforced to ensure the safety of the building.


Protection requirements for fire extinguishing area of machine room


1. Through the air-conditioning pipeline in the fire-fighting area, electric fire dampers are installed on both sides.


2. As for the air-conditioning system without air supply under the underground pipeline, an electric fire damper is set under the wall of the fire-extinguishing area. The fire damper is usually open to ensure the air supply volume of the air-conditioning in the machine room. When extinguishing the fire, it is fully closed to ensure that the agent in the fire-extinguishing area does not leak outward.


3. It is necessary to open all doors set in the fire extinguishing system area outward and set door closers.
